This is a permanent, part-time position. Your working hours per week will be approx. 34 hours during school term and 38 hours during vacation care.

Feb 14 | Youth Program Support Volunteer | Brisbane

outh Program Support Volunteers are embedded within the life of the YMCA Vocational School. They will provide support and guidance to young people to increase positive behaviour and attitude towards education and work.

The program duration will be for approximately eight (8) months, commencing in March 2018. Program Support Volunteers are required to attend at least one school day per week at one of the five YMCA Vocational School Campuses. The program will run on all of our four campuses, including Kingston, Ipswich, North Lakes and Acacia Ridge.

Youth Mentors have two primary responsibilities: to build and maintain positive mentoring relationship(s) and, to actively facilitate the development of the mentoring team culture. This program will be run on all four of our School Campuses including Kingston, North Lakes, Ipswich and Acacia Ridge.

YMCA Outside Schools Hours Care (OSHC) services care for children before school, after school and during holidays on a number of school sites throughout South East Queensland. The YMCA is currently recruiting for casual OSHC Educators/Assistants for our service in Warrigal Road, Eight Mile Plains.
